Sponsor a String Scholarship

One important aim of the Wales International Harp Festival, which will be held in Caernarfon in April, is to support children and young people to play the harp. There will be competitions, concerts, masterclasses and workshops to inspire youngsters by famous harpists from home and abroad. Would you like to help the Festival by contributing a sum of your own choice to ensure the success of the Festival?

Would you be willing to make a donation towards scholarships that will be given to young harpists who will emerge as winners in the two competitions (under 13 and 19), and help pay for masterclasses given by the world-class harpists who are members of the Jury?

In the last Festival, in 2018, generous donations given by friends and music- lovers were very important in helping us create an informative, interesting and inspiring programme which attracted many young people to the harp.

Paying for music lessons in this period of unprecesented economic austerity can be challenging and for that reason, any financial help will encourage young persons to pursue their music education.

If you prefer to pay by cheque, please fill out this form and return it with a cheque payable to ‘CGWM’ to: CGWM, Galeri, Doc Victoria, Caernarfon, LL55 1SQ.
